| Iran, an appropriate market for Chinese cars |
Chinese car manufacturing association director stated that Iran made an appropriate market for Chinese cars.
"Iran and China's car manufacturing industry are on the path of gaining technology and are cooperating with each other along with awareness of their present situation. Considering the circumstances there is a good amount of potentialities for near future ties," stated Teng Bole while speaking to an ISNA reporter.
When asked why people recognized Chinese cars as low quality vehicles, Bole answered that the company would do its best to increase its after sale services.
"Of course we agree that China's car industry is not of high qualities but the Chinese government is trying to adopt new methods to evaluate and supervise the quality of export cars," he said.
"We are willing to export 30 percent of our products by 2010. In addition to Europe and the U.S., our assumption is that Iran is an appropriate market for China's car export enhancement," he went on to say.
"By next year, with the manufacture of the Iranian Samand cars in China, Iran's car manufacturing industry would enter the Chinese market as well. On the other hand the acceleration of productions and car manufacturing industry and the inexpensiveness of manufacture have brought the world's look on us. I think that is why Iran and China are keen on car manufacturing enhancements and this not of much relevance to Iran's recent nuclear issues," he concluded while replying to a question stated by a reporter who inquired the reasons behind Iran-China car ties.
